WHAT IS CELEBRATE RECOVERY?

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery community helping others celebrate freedom from all types of painful hurts, habits and hang-ups. Celebrate Recovery utilizes the biblical truth that we need each other in order to grow spiritually and emotionally. Together we experience life-changing transformation as we learn to apply the Twelve Steps along with biblical comparisons and Eight Recovery Principles based on the teachings of Jesus.

God’s healing power leads us to a life of serenity, joy and most importantly, a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

FINDING FREEDOM TOGETHER

Come as you are! No registration is needed. Celebrate Recovery is an anonymous recovery meeting. No matter what hurt, pain, or struggle you are facing, your are welcome. You are free to share or not to share inside the support groups.

WHAT DO MEETINGS LOOK LIKE?

The Large Group Meeting is designed for the participant to set aside the busyness and stress of the outside world by entering into a time of prayer, praise, and teaching as a way of getting in touch with the one and only Higher Power, Jesus Christ.

The Open Share Small Group provides a safe place to share your experiences, strengths, and hopes with others that are also going through a Christ-centered recovery. Your leader will help you focus on one recovery step each week and you will have the opportunity to find an accountability partner or sponsor.

HOW IT WORKS

Realize I’m not God; I admit that I am powerless to control my tendency to do the wrong thing and that my life is unmanageable. (Step 1)

Earnestly believe that God exists, that I matter to Him and that He has the power to help me recover. (Step 2)

Consciously choose to commit all my life and will to Christ’s care and control. (Step 3)

Openly examine and confess my faults to myself, to God, and to someone I trust. (Steps 4 and 5)

Voluntarily submit to any and all changes God wants to make in my life and humbly ask Him to remove

my character defects. (Steps 6 and 7)

Evaluate all my relationships. Offer forgiveness to those who have hurt me and make amends for harm I’ve done

to others when possible, except when to do so would harm them or others. (Steps 8 and 9)

Reserve a time with God for self-examination, Bible reading, and prayer in order to know God and His will for my life and to gain the power to follow His will.

(Steps 10 and 11)

Yield myself to God to be used to bring this Good News to others, both by my example and my words. (Step 12)
